Deadly Accident In Clay County

(Clay County) One person was killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle collision this morning in Clay County. The crash reportedly occurred shortly before noon when a Toyota north on Highway 135 turned onto Highway 62 and into the path of an eastbound Mercury. A passenger in the Toyota - 91-year-old Anna E. Doeckel of Corning - died of injuries at a Missouri hospital, state police said. The driver of the Toyota - 82-year-old Carroll Hester of Corning - and the driver of the Mercury - 19-year-old Aaron F. Jansen of Pocahontas - were both taken to a Paragould hospital with injuries.
