Fayetteville police say theyve arrested a man in connection with the rape of a minor. Investigators arent saying much due to the age of the child involved but the adult charged with the rape is, himself, just old enough to be called an adult. Police tell us they became aware of eighteen year old Michael Jacobsons possible illegal activity involving a four year old boy on may fourth…when the child told his mother that his "bottom hurt" and that Jacobson had hurt him. The childs mother, who has not been charged with any wrong doing did not admit to any sexual misconduct or abuse, but during questioning on Monday the eighteen year old man police say is responsible for raping the boy did. Reports say Jacobson denied the allegations at first but later admitted to raping the four year old five months ago at a home in Springdale. Police arrested the man on probable cause and then transported him to the Washington County detention center where he faces a felony charge of rape.
