In this week's edition of "Catching Crooks", KNWA is working with the Rogers Police Department to find three of its most wanted suspects.
Vicky Rush, Leah Jewell-Sturm and Christopher Bowerman are on the run and are accused of beating and torturing a man last February. The victim said the three suspects along with Horace Canada, who has since been arrested, lured him to a home in Rogers where they called him a snitch and began punching him in the face.
The group also hit him with baseball bats while the women used knives to threaten his life. According to the victim, Rush and Jewell-Sturm shaved his legs and painted his toenails while he was tied up with duct tape.
After several hours of beatings, the group took the victim to a barn in Monte Ne where they left him for dead. However, he was able to escape and suffered three broken bones in his face along with numerous other injuries.
The three suspects may now be living in Springdale or the Fort Smith area. If you have any information about Rush, Jewell-Sturm or Bowerman please contact the Rogers Police Department.
