AJ Jefferson is from Prairie Grove, Arkansas. A far cry away from a battle zone, its a town AJ is proud to call home while not serving in Iraq. He and his friend William Wright are back home now, but their battle has just begun according to them. During their time in Iraq, serving together, they were each injured in roadside attacks on their convoys. Though the attacks happened at separate times, the battle they fight now, they fight united. Since being seriously injured, AJ Jefferson and William Wright have been trying to get the U.S. government to honor insurance policies the two soldiers purchased, but as of yet they have been denied. Doctor after doctor has qualified them for their benefits, but according to the two men the government wont honor those claims. They tell us that instead of getting on with their lives, theyre now fighting to make their lives livable. If you would like to help out by sending a letter to your senator, you can find out who they are and where to contact them by visiting the following address. http://www.arkansas.gov/senate/senators.php
