A proposed merger between an Arkansas company and a fuel giant is drawing criticism. Springdale-based Tyson Foods and ConocoPhillips are hoping to create and sell a new diesel fuel made from animal fat, but critics say the merger takes unfair advantage of a tax credit given to companies developing biodiesel. One U.S. Representative from Texas says he has even filed a bill to do away with the tax credit to prevent other companies from misusing it.
