By: Neile Jones
Updated: October 10, 2007
Legislators in Texas have reportedly helped move Legislation that would mean three-billion dollars in cancer research and projects.  The Susan G Komen For A Cure website reports several groups working together to make the move happen including the lance armstrong foundation and The American Cancer Society.  The organization expressed high hopes this could be an example other states will soon follow.  The group also plans to show support when and if Texas residents are asked to vote on the issue.
