State troopers in Minnesota are savoring victory thanks to a pretty sweet drug bust.
More than a ton of marijuana was found hidden inside a truck carrying a massive shipment of jawbreaker candies. The troopers found the pot Wednesday, after pulling the truck over for driving erratically. While searching the truck, a drug dog caught a whiff of the pot. The Feds said these particular "sweets" have a street value of about $3.5 million, surprising even seasoned drug officials.
"This type of deals get the hairs on the back of the neck standing up," said Kent Bailey of the Drug Enforcement Agency.
The two men inside the truck are charged with interstate drug trafficking.
