Dr. Larry Weeks told the story of how, in the wake of his wifes death, the city of Farmington cared for him and his family like no other.
Last September, his land was annexed into Fayetteville. He had been living on it for 20 years. Dr. Weeks says he should be a member of the Farmington community - since thats where he first purchased the land, and made a home there.
The Fayetteville city council approved the ordinance to de-annex the land back into Farmington earlier tonight, making them Farmington residents once again, which is where he wants his tax dollars to go, and his address to reflect.
