Laine Baker

Laine Baker comes to Northwest Arkansas from the Sunflower State, where her family settled in Leavenworth after her father retired from the Air Force.
She is a proud Jayhawk, having graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
The Kansas City Star is where Laine got her start in journalism. She then moved on to the NBC affiliate in Topeka Kansas, where she was a weekend anchor and reporter.
Laine loves spending time with her husband and their two dogs, a Scotty-Chihuahua mix Ozzy and a Shiba Inu-Corgi mix Jazz.
She also enjoys traveling, and has been all over the world, with some of her favorite
spots being Hong Kong, Scotland and Costa Rica.
Laine is becoming a pretty good cook and if you see her out and about - give her some tips or recipes!
