Four separate armed robberies in three days with no arrests, and Fort smith police want answers. It started Monday night, when three men were caught on tape in the parking lot of the Shamrock Liquor Store on Midland, just after employees were robbed. Then Tuesday night, police say three men robbed the Flash Market on Old Greenwood Road, with a hand gun and a sawed-off shotgun. Early Thursday morning, Fort Smith police say two men hit up the EZ Mart on Highway 271. Police say both men used hand guns to force the clerks to the floor, then stole cash out of the register. Just twenty minutes later, police were called to Dougs Eastside on Rogers Avenue, where an employee and a customer say two men robbed the cash register, and one of them had a gun. Sergeant Jarrard Copeland with the Fort Smith Police Department says as of now, officers arent sure if the four robberies are related, but theyre not ruling it out. Many of the robbers shared a common disguise: a bandana over their faces. Fort Smith police ask anyone with information on the robberies to call them at (479) 709-5000.
