bee2007-06-08-1181340448.jpgEveryday, hundreds of students and professors come in and out of Old Main, and now a swarm of bees is doing the same. The bees built a hive near the fifth floor... getting in the way of construction workers trying to give Old Main a facelift. The hive is right outside the Fulbright honors office; employees say the bees have made a home there for years. The bees don't seem to pose a threat to anyone inside the building, because no one on the fifth floor says they've seen any buzzing through the hallways. But for construction crews working high up on the outside of Old Main, a swarm of bees could be dangerous. Crews plan to have the bees removed sometime next week.
