"People who commit a robbery usually dont just go home and lead a spotless life. Usually if its their first time, there may be a few days before they do it again," says Sergeant Jarrard Copeland with the Fort Smith Police Department.
But even in light of all the robberies this week, some convenience store workers say theyre not worried.
"I really never worry. Ive been doing this for years and years and it just doesnt bother me," says Loretta Mortan, a convenience store employee.
Whether this particular string of robberies is over or not, police say anyone who tries to get away with robbery will more than likely get caught.
"These people will be punished for what they have done. Others who may be thinking about committing a robbery will see what happens when they do, and it wont happen," Copeland says.
