According to The Arkansas  Business Journal, KATV- Channel 7 General Manager Dale Nicholson and U Of A Athletic Director Frank Broyles don't agree.   The station wants anchor Scott  Inmann to take over, while Coach Broyles prefers Chuck Barrett.
At one point the article quotes a letter written by Nicholson to  Broyles-- part of it reads..

"Coach while we are hopeful we can reach an accord on the announcement, KATV feels strongly that having a play-by-play announcer who is also connected with KATV is vitally important."

The article also quotes a letter from Broyles to Nicholson a section reads..quote.....

"I am very disappointed and surprised that KATV would now assert, for the first time, that it has the 'right' to select and to publicize a new play-by-play announcer in disregard for the university's right of approval and it's best interests"

According to the report Nicholson has said he'd like to meet with Broyles this week to resolve the issue.
