Parents we talked to had differing views on whether trying to keep toy guns away from young boys is worth the trouble. "Pretending to shoot somebody, or pretending to kill somebody isn't a game -- we don't even play videogames that have guns in them," says mom Juliene Knell. "Even if you had no guns in your house --they would take a sandwich and chew it into the shape of a gun -- it's just in their nature," says mother Vanya Gilmore. Kelly Connelly, a mother of four boys says, "It'll never go away because it's everywhere, and boys follow what they model -- videogames, movies, even cartoons have guns." Police in West Memphis said the boy was carrying a silverish gun when he was shot by police late at night.. one mother, who wouldn't speak to us on camera said the problem isn't guns, it's young boys playing unsupervised at 10:00 at night that leads to tragedies.
