The Springdale City Council passed and ordinance on Tuesday that will allow the city to revoke a business license if its deemed a nuisance. According to an attorney representing the Rio Bravo Discotec, the council closed the issue to debate after hearing the concerns of only one person. The ordinance went into effect immediately and the owner of the discotec believes his business is being singled out by the city. The Rio Bravo has been the location of over one hundred misdemeanor and felony offenses since it opened and because of that the owner feels hes being treated unfairly. Attorneys for the man say theres nothing to do now but wait and see if the new ordinance affects his clients discotec.
