Jury Selection In Local Murder Trial

juryselection2007-07-08-1183934727.jpgMonday, jury selection will begin for the trial of 21-year old Kevin Jones, who is charged with first-degree murder in the December 2005 slaying of 19-year old Nona Dirksmeyer. Dirksmeyer was found dead in her apartment, beaten and with her throat slashed. Jones was charged the following March and pleaded not guilty. The case was moved from Russellville to Ozark in Franklin County due to pre-trial news coverage.
