Springdale police say at least two suspects attempted to burglarize the Acme Brick Company on Thompson St. early Monday morning. Police believe the suspects attempt to burglarize Acme Brick was cut short when Justin Lewis showed up to work. The 31 year old told police before he knew it he was tackled and shot in the shoulder. Lewis was taken to Northwest Medical Center with non life threatening injuries. He was released a short time later. Lewis told police it all happened so fast he cant really describe the suspects, other than both are men with short hair, stand just under six feet tall and one of the suspects had facial hair. The suspects are facing attempted murder charges.
