A multi-million dollar company plans to make a new home in a local town.
Poteau, Oklahoma, will be the new headquarters for Tiger Truck Assembly.
Tiger Trucks is Chinas third largest vehicle manufacturer.
It produces off-road vehicles.
Governor Brad Henry, along with Tiger Truck C.E.O. Mike Ward, say Poteau has room to grow.
Mayor Jeff Shockley says the addition of Tiger Trucks is a great opportunity for the city and surrounding communities.
Tiger Trucks is the biggest company to come to Poteau.
It will bring almost one hundred jobs to Poteau within the first year.
A couple years later, the company plans on adding an additional two hundred jobs.
Tiger Trucks will move into a building at Poteau Industrial Park and will start operating this September.
