Mother And Four Children Killed In Head-On Wreck

POLICELINEroad2007-07-16-1184593292.jpgA horrific accident near Pine Bluff Saturday left a mother from the community of Monticello and her four young children dead. Arkansas State Police say 26-year-old Laketria Wells and her four children, aged two to seven-years-old, died when a northbound tractor-trailer rig crossed the center line of Highway 425 and into the southbound lane colliding head-on with the car the Wells' family was traveling in. The truck driver, 57-year-old Roy Lee Jordan of Benton, Mississippi, was arrested. He's charged with five-counts of vehicular manslaughter.
