Move over Spiderman and make room for David and Goliath. Biblical action figures will soon be available in the toy isles at some Wal-Mart stores. Wal-Mart has a deal with toy company One2believe. The toymaker specialized in biblical action figures. It even carries a Jesus toy.
Wal-Mart is testing the action figures in 425 of its stores. The characters will be sold mainly in the South and Midwest. This is the first time the worlds largest retailer will carry a religious toy line, although the company offers religious items on a seasonal basis.
The toys are part of the companies “Store of the Community” strategy a plan to sell items based on the wants of individual markets. The toys wont be sold at Wal-Mart until mid-August. Locally, you’ll be able to buy the toys at both Fayetteville supercenters and in Bentonville.
