Its been more than six weeks since Alicia Minton was last seen and crews continue to search Beaver Lake. Missouri Water Patrolmen brought two pieces of high-tech equipment to the lake. Wednesday, they used a side scan-sonar to look at the bottom of the lake. The sonar has been used to locate 18 drowning victims this year alone. The sonar sends a signal to a computer screen investigators are able to view from their boat. "If we see images that interest us we evaluate them and if we need to, we put divers on it to see what it is,” said Charles Hoff, Missouri Water Patrolman. Instead of sending divers to the bottom of the lake, a remote operated vehicle can be used. The ROV sends a video signal to a monitor on the boat.
