With only three days left until the release of the seventh Harry Potter book, employees of Borders Bookstore in Rogers are preparing for this huge event. Borders sale manager, Courtney Callahan, said the store is ready for the upcoming event leading up to the release. Harry Potter books, toys, movies, and even candy fill the shelves at Borders. Along with many other stores that will be selling the book, Borders would not give up any information on the book or even where they are stored due to a confidentiality contract all of the stores have signed with Scholastic. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows” will be released Friday at midnight, although festivities including a potterbee, snake debate, and a costume contest will start at 9 p.m. at Borders in the Pinnacle Hills Promenade.
