If you have a pet, you know no matter how good they are, they can be a bit naughty from time to time. Well, a Wisconsin dog who is known for eating everything in sight, chewed up a bit more than her owner expected. Pet owners will tell you, every animal has its own unique personality. Debbie Hulleman has two dogs: Zach, whos satisfied just hanging around eating grass, and Pepper Ann, who eats everything else. "Shes eaten lipstick, so lipstick gets all over the carpet, ball-point pens all over the carpet, toothpaste, shampoo. Shes done a lot. Kleenex, shell eat a whole box of Kleenex if she can get it," Hulleman says. In the eight years shes been on this earth, the Lab-German short-haired mix has routinely demonstrated an appetite for destruction. "She goes from room to room, looking to get into trouble," Hulleman says. Exhibit A: look no further than this mangled collection of cash. Pepper Ann stuck her nose into a purse during a recent visit to Grandmas place, and helped herself to an expensive snack. "My mom found little piles of money all over the place where she had chewed up and spit it out or something," Hulleman says. The "or something" involved something Pepper left in the back yard. "Lots of piles of little bits of money hanging out in there, so I just saved it, and rinsed it and strained it," Hulleman says. After drying, matching and taping together as much currency as she could, Hulleman traded in more than $700 at a local bank. Because you need at least three quarters of a bill to be legal, Pepper Anns adventure cost the family at least $100. An expensive lesson to be sure, but no one expects Pepper Ann to change her ways. "I think shes just naughty," Hulleman says.
