Eureka Springs is now home to the Hells Angels’ yearly vacation. Bikers from across the country rode to the tourist town this week. An estimated 400 bikers will hang out in Eureka Springs through Sunday. The Angels rented every room in the 1876 Inn.
Eureka Springs police said they dont plan to beef up their staff for the Angels visit, but state police and federal agents have. Troopers and federal agents are in Eureka Springs this week. And while theyre prepared for rowdy behavior, locals arent worried. The Angels came to Eureka in the 1980s and boosted the local economy.
"The retail section of town did very well. I do not recall any problems that occurred at that time and I know they did spend a lot of money in Eureka Springs and they brought a lot of attention to the city nationwide,” said former mayor of Eureka Springs Beau Satori,
