Senate Approves More Border Patrol Funding

The U.S. Senate wants tighter border security. Last week, lawmakers voted to spend $3 billion over the next five years. The money is part of a homeland security spending bill. Local Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor both voted in favor of the increased border security.
