A popular Philadelphia strip club threw a golf outing recently, but the entertainment on the course had some neighbors in a tizzy, and when news crews from our NBC affiliate in Philadelphia showed up, some of the people involved were not happy. We need to warn you, some of the video that accompanies this story could be offensive to some viewers. Anyone could have seen it from a public street: strippers from Club Risqué engaging in very risqué activity at the Island Green Golf Course. Someone alerted the Philadelphia NBC affiliates investigators about strippers baring more than bikinis in plain view, right in the the middle of a residential area. Within minutes of driving through the northeast Philadelphia neighborhood, reporter Harry Hairston looked out of the passenger window, and spotted a topless woman fondling her breast, and when he stopped for a closer look, he saw more than just fondling. One by one golf carts pulled up. After a little bit of talking, the golf carts started rocking with lap dances, and when the hot session cooled, cold cash came out. When Hairston showed the video to several area residents, they were shocked.. "Its just disgusting. Its out in the open, it is daytime, what if someone and their family walked by?" said neighbor Donna Dibiasio. Hairston contacted the golf course, but management refused to talk, and hung up on him. He also contacted the strip club. A spokesperson for Club Risqué told him they sponsored the outing and the strippers work for them. The spokesperson also said the strippers were supposed to only pose in bikinis. "I think its disgusting and they should be arrested," said area resident Joanne Pinoski. Minutes before this story aired on our NBC affiliate station in Philadelphia, the general manager of the golf course called reporter Harry Hairston, and said that he became aware of the activity that morning, and removed the strippers from the course.
