A 19-year-old man is in stable condition Tuesday after being shot in his girlfriends house. Deputies were called to the home at 13569 North Vaughn Road in Highfill after they got a call saying some was shot. Police say 49-year-old George David Reed was arrested for shooting his daughters boyfriend, Austin Guzman. Police say Guzman was shot once in the lower body in one of the homes bedrooms.
Police arent exactly saying what was happening in the bedroom that provoked the shooting. Police say Reed is facing charges of batter in the first degree and a charge of a terroristic act. If convicted, he could face anywhere from 10 years to life in prison.
