Johnson may be the next Northwest Arkansas hot spot.
Mayor Lonnie Barron says developers may like the area partly because of its easy access to Interstate 540. New businesses are already in the works for Johnson, including several homes and shops, and a couple of medical offices. The city has even hired a new building inspector and code enforcer to help with the development boom.
