Crime Busters Flashlight Walk

On August 6th, The Greenwood Police Department will be having a “Crime Busters Flashlight Walk.” They are asking everyone to turn their porch lights on August 6 and August 7 to light up their neighborhoods to show criminals “they mean business!”
The walk starts at Farmer Bank at 8:00 PM. The first 200 participants will receive a free t-shirt and flashlight.
August 7th, the Greenwood Police Department will host an event with Greenwood K-9 demonstrations, carnival games, child identification kits, tours of the Swat Command Center, concessions, music, and much more. Also, there will be a silent auction where the winning bid will be rewarded to non-profit organizations.
