Leroy Birth was on his way to the eye doctor when a man swerved and almost hit him.
Birth yelled back at the driver and said "If youre drunk go home and park your vehicle, because you almost hit me."
Birth said the man then chased him to the eye doctor and threatened to hurt him.
"He shot three times in the air, then pointed the gun at me" said Birth.
There wasnt any injuries but, Birth says it was a scary experience and hopes that the police catch the man who threatened him.
"He doesnt need to be out here in these streets. I have kids growing up here you know" said Birth.
Fort Smith Police are looking for a small maroon SUV with a cream or faded white top.
Witnesses describe the man as middle aged with brown hair.
