breaking news
Century old buildings still stand in the downtown district of Gentry, but some of them are abandoned or used for storage. But now is the time for the town to clean up. Gentry Chamber of Commerce brought in Dr. Don Bradley, University of Central Arkansas professor, to conduct a month long study. Bradley and two grad students presented a development plan to the Gentry City Council. The first step to take is to clean up the buildings on Main Street because they could be a safety hazard. The city hopes to revitalize the district and bring in new businesses.
