The Fayetteville Police Department is still looking for a man who has robbed three local banks. In the month of June, he hit two Arvest Branches in Fayetteville and struck again in July at the First National Bank on Rogers Avenue in Fort Smith. Police say he has not used a gun but instead passes a note to bank tellers which demands money.
The suspect is described as a heavyset male that stands about 5-feet-8 inches tall. At the time of the robberies, he had facial hair and was wearing a baseball cap. It's unknown if this suspect is responsible for Northwest Arkansas' latest bank robbery that happened Thursday in Springdale.
