The firefighters mission was to spray their bosses house with water, as a practical joke.
Witnesses said they heard the fire trucks sirens and saw the firefighters driving recklessly through town.
Police said this has never happened before in panama.
"When you have something like that happen, you always start to run things through our head. Whos the usual suspect to do something of this nature and it was actually a shock to us all. We were familiar with all the suspects that were involved and actually knew all of them" said John Whiteaker.
Police are not sure if the truck was involved in an accident. It did have some scratches on it but, no major damage to the fire truck.
Firefighter Dustin Armstrong was driving the truck and told police he had been drinking.
He resigned from his position after being arrested. He now faces charges for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
Fireman Wiley Williamson says even though Armstrong did not make the right choices he still thinks armstrong is a good firefighter and says he would hire him back any day.
The other three firefighters in the truck with Armstrong are still being questioned about the joyride.
