A tragic car accident in Mexico claimed the lives of four people from Fayetteville Steve and Sharon Hoover along with his son Paul and his wife Maureen left for a family vacation to Mexico Tuesday morning. On the way to the hotel they were hit by another car on a two lane highway just south of Cancun. All four of them died. For the ten years they lived in Fayetteville Sharon was on numerous Fayetteville committees and designed the planning building. Friends say Steve was a talented artist. Paul married Maureen six years ago. Paul was a fort smith firefighter and Maureen worked at the university.
