"My first inclination as a professional breeder, after i got over the disgust was that we have to help. I made one phone call to another breeder and from that phone call, it was within 24 hours that we had in excessive of fifteen hundred dollars and a ton of dog food" said dog breeder Sherry Franklin. Donations were made from pet stores and other dog breeders around the area to help these dogs. The dog breeders in Bloomer are still under investigation and could face animal cruelty charges.
