Parents, teachers and students made their way to Cooper Elementary in Bella Vista this morning...much like they will for the next several months. And right from the start it was clear this would be a day of firsts....the first hug good bye. The first tears after Mom left....the first rules to remember. And the first little bit of knowledge picked up from a teacher. Even though most of the kindergarten to fouth grade students were still testing the water. Others dived right in and by all accounts the first day ever of school went along just swimmingly. Sad for some, a relief for others....and of course a few right in between. Whatever the case, its official...Cooper Elementary is open for business, ready to be home to another day of firsts for years to come....and all this by eight twenty six in the morning.
