Candlelight Vigil for Missing Man

The warm rain at Lake Bella Vista set a somber, yet hopeful mood at Friday night's candlelight vigil for 78-year-old Nelson Berger. The Bella Vista man went missing on July 15th, and friends and family -- like Berger's daughter, DeAnn Lay -- want some answers, and an end to their painful ordeal."We're just going to be in prayer that my father is found,"says Lay. "The circumstances seem very bizarre.... it's very upsetting to not have closure for someone that you love."
Nelson was supposed to meet DeDnn and her husband in Tulsa on July 15th. When he didn't show up, police and members of Berger's family searched for him, but to no avail.
DeAnn says her father was driving his three-wheeled motorcycle, known as a trike, around Bella Vista the last time anyone saw him. DeAnn and other volunteers like members of the "Let's Bring Them Home" organization are comitted to searching for Berger until he is found. They're asking for the public's help, too. In the coming weeks, "Let's Bring Them Home" will spear-head a ground search for Berger around Bella Vista. For more information on the search for Nelson Berger click here.
