Tuesday
5 a.m.: "How to Prepare Fair Exhibits" presentation
8 a.m.-noon: Open and Junior Livestock entries accepted
8 a.m.: Fruits and Vegetables, Field Crops
8:30 p.m.: Cut Flowers, Potted Plants and Flower Arrangements
9 a.m.: Junior Poultry judged
10 a.m.: Dairy and Agricultural Mechanics exhibits judged
10 a.m.: Washington County Fair exhibits officially open
2-4 p.m.: Weighing of market hogs
4 p.m.: Breeding sheep judged; followed by market lambs and showmanship
5 p.m.: Carnival opens; $5 per person (children 6 and younger admitted free)
6:30 p.m.: Little People Ms. and Mr. Washington County Beauty Pageant
7 p.m.: Market steers, commercial heifers and meat goats weighed
8:30 p.m.: Beef Tie Out
11 a.m.: Carnival closes
Wednesday
Livestock Show day (school day students admitted free until 3 p.m.)
10 a.m.: Gates open
8 a.m.: Open poultry and hogs judged
8 a.m.: Dairy goats judged
3:30 p.m.: Commercial heifers and breeding beef judged; junior market steer judged afterward
5 p.m.: Meat goat judging
5 p.m.: Carnival opens; $5 per person (children 6 and younger admitted free)
8:30 p.m.: Beef Tie Out
11 p.m.: Carnival closes
Note: All sale orders much be received in the fair office no later than 10 p.m. Wednesday for Thursdays sale. All superintendents must meet in the fair office at 10 p.m. Wednesday to finalize sale order.
Thursday
Senior Citizen Day, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Must be 62 or older for free admittance)
10 a.m.: Gates open
Noon : Open beef livestock entries in place
4 p.m.: Youth livestock entries in place
4:30-5:30 p.m.: Youth livestock judged
5-6:30 p.m.: Livestock buyers dinner; open to exhibitors and buyers at $5 a plate
5 p.m.: Carnival opens; $5 per person (children 6 and younger admitted free)
6:30 p.m.: 4-H and FFA livestock auction
8:30 p.m.: Beef Tie Out
11 p.m.: Carnival closes
Friday
10 a.m.: Gates open
10 a.m.: Open beef show
5 p.m.: Junior Livestock Exhibitors Award Picnic
5 p.m.: Carnival opens; $5 per person (children 6 and younger admitted free)
5:30 p.m.: University Night Out
6:30 : Ladies and Gents Lead
6:30-8 p.m.: Cake decorating demonstration
6:30-8 p.m.: Sewing demonstration
7 p.m.: Caprine Capers
8:30 p.m.: Beef Tie Out
11 a.m.-3 a.m.: Moonlight Madness (Carnival fairway stays open)
Saturday
10 a.m.: Gates open; Carnival opens; $5 per person (children 6 and younger admitted free)
10 a.m.: Youth dog show
Noon: Junior beef showmanship followed by grooming competition
10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Fleece to Fashion
1:30 p.m.-3 p.m.: Sewing demonstration
2:30 p.m.: Tractor pull
2:30-3 p.m.: Registration for judging contest
3 p.m.: Judging contest
5:30 p.m.: Awards program
6 p.m.: Youth talent contest
6:30-8 p.m.: Sewing demonstration
7:30 p.m.: Purtiest Cow contest -- beef and dairy winners
10-11 p.m.: Exhibits released; except Thompson Hall and Cultural Arts building exhibits. They will be released from 2-4 p.m.
Sunday
11 p.m.: Carnival closes
