Labor Day weekend usually means travel and traffic for many Arkansans. If you're filling the tank to head back home, prices at the pump are up slightly. Northwest Arkansas has the highest prices, averaging $2.86 to $2.90. In the Texarkana area you can expect about $2.63. In the Little Rock area, it's just a penny less. The national average for a gallon of regular is $2.77, and triple a says with summer ending, prices should start to fall again.
