Northwest Arkansas has the highest prices, averaging $2.86 to $2.90. In the Texarkana area you can expect about $2.63. In the Little Rock area, it's just a penny less. The national average for a gallon of regular is $2.77, and triple a says with summer ending, prices should start to fall again.
