The V.A. hospital in Fayetteville is doubling in size. The medical center is getting a 144,000-square-foot addition. Right now, plans are still in the design phase, but once the funding is approved, construction should take about three years. Center Director Kathleen Fogarty says the additional space will be used mainly for outpatient services, and specialty practices like radiology and cardiology.
