Ozark Regional Transit Considers Fare Hike

Riding the Ozark Regional Transit may cost more in the future. The company says rising gas costs have forced it to propose the fare increase. If approved, it would be the first fare hike in five years. The fare increases are listed below. Single rides Adults: Increase from $1.00 to $1.25 Students: Increase from $0.75 to $1.00 Senior/Disabled: Increase from $0.50 to $0.60 Paratransit: Increase from $2.00 to $2.50 Monthly Passes Adults: Increase from $24.00 to $30.00 Students: Increase from $20.00 to $25.00 Senior/Disabled: Increase from $12.00 to $15.00 10-Ride Pass: Increase from $7.50 to $10.00 10 Paratransit tokens: Increase from $20.00 to $25.00 Source: Ozark Regional Transit
