An Air Force bomber armed with six nuclear warheads may have flown across Arkansas and a squadron commander is now out of work and an investigation underway. Pentagon officials say the B-52 bomber was mistakenly loaded with advanced cruise missiles last Thursday. The plane flew for more than three hours from North Dakota to barksdale air force base in Louisiana but the Pentagons press secretary says the public was never in danger. Morrell says a full report should be complete by the end of next week
