In early August, Louie Reed returned from Branson to find his master bedroom ransacked and thousands of dollars worth of jewelry missing. Reed is just one of six homeowners in a Rogers area, burglarized since July. The homes were in an area between Walnut Street and New Hope Road in Rogers, along 28th Street. Police arent sure if the crimes are connected, but at most of the break-ins thieve took money, prescription medicine, and jewelry.
"Some of that jewelry was irreplaceable,” said Reed. “My father’s wedding band and my mother’s jewelry were taken. If you add it all up, it could be close to 5,000 dollars worth of stuff.”
