Six Arkansas Colleges and Universities have been awarded Upward Bound grants, that total over $1.7 million. The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville will recieve funding from the Upward Bound Math and Science Program. A program created to prepare high school students for postsecondary education programs.The UA, Fayetteville, will also receive funding from the Upward Bound Veterans Program designed to assist veterans in preparing for postsecondary education plans. Arkansas Congressional leaders made the $1,773,937 million announcement Thursday.
