For about a month Car-Mart has been collecting supplies for area schools. Friday, they delivered the last of the supplies to Grace Hill Elementary School in Rogers. The supplies drive is part of Car-Mart and KNWA’s Teacher’s Aid program. During the month of August, people dropped off school supplies at four local Car-Mart locations. The supplies were taken to more than 10 local schools. The kids and teachers at Grace Hill were exited to get the supplies.
“Some of the kids don’t have the funds to bring in what they need,” said teacher Lacie Green-Jones. “A lot of our teacher’s salary goes back to the classroom.”
