breaking news
Visitors at The First Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista arent normally asked to give when church leaders pass the plate, but theyre also not asked to take. Still, that didnt stop an unwanted visitor from breaking in Saturday. Two laptops were taken and the thief busted three doors inside the church. Its the second break-in at this church in a week.
"We got broken into Wednesday, at choir practice while the lot was filled with cars,” said church pastor John Conley. “Somebody came in and broke into a car and stole things."
Someone also broke into parked cars at St. Bernard. At the Bella Vista Church of the Nazarene, someone kicked in a door. Police say nothing was taken and only minor damaged was caused.
