Landers-Mclarty Gets New Investor?

BET founder Robert Johnson may be acquiring a majority stake in the Landers-Mclarty auto group. The group reportedly owns 12 dealerships in the south and midwest. Johnson, became a billionaire with the sale of BET to viacom in 2001. He will become a 51 percent stakeholder in the landers-mclarty auto group. The announcement was made today in the Arkansas Business Journal.
