This summer several products sold at Wal-Mart stores across the country caused concern for parents and dog owners. There was even a toothpaste scare. During the past few months Wal-Mart recalled several products made in China. Wake-up Wal-Mart, a group opposing the Bentonville based company, has been keeping a close watch on the worlds largest retailer. This week the group released a television and internet ad highlighting the recent recalls and questioning Wal-Mart’s business relationship with China.
A spokesperson for Wal-Mart said the company never cuts corners to lower prices. Wal-Mart has also adopted a five point toy safety plan to try and assure product safety.
