Cities around the country are looking to Arkansas concerning marijuana arrests. Last year the city of Eureka Springs passed legislation making pot arrests low priority for cops. Now the citys being used as a model for other places around America because some residents feel the same way about marijuana as residents in Eureka Springs.
The town has become a model for other towns from Montana, to Colorado...but Eureka Police Chief Earl Hyatt points out, the laws remain the same. Its still illegal to have marijuana.
